The gullies on Tambo Bluff contain ephemeral streams that flow dependent on rainfall. In all but the driest times underground spring water can still make its way to the lagoons.
A feature of these gullies is the ‘Chain of Ponds’.
These ponds provide important habit and drinking water for many creatures including the Swamp Wallaby.
Look for the ponds and natural springs along the Wallaby Creek Walking Track.
