With the mass loss of native wildlife due to recent bushfires it was disturbing to find a savaged Blue Tongue lizard on the Wallaby Creek Track and a dead resident Tawny Frogmouth beside a road on Tambo Bluff.

While we are not sure how either of these animals met their demise we can take an educated guess. Please take care while driving, keep dogs on a leash and cats contained.

All native species are precious for our biodiversity.
