The newly expanded Tambo Bluff Maintenance Crew (Thank you, new members!) were busy recently putting the finishing touches to the upgraded entrance of the Wallaby Creek Walking Track.
Construction works were completed in February this year, followed by many hours of ongoing indigenous revegetation and repositioning of sculptural signage. Despite working within Regional Victoria Covid 19 restrictions, hundreds of plants have been strategically placed within the upgraded pathway configuration.
On Monday our wheelbarrow brigade carted and distributed a final mulch layer to several areas of new plantings, to top off this unique project. At the Swan Street steps end of the track, a crack team of whipper snippers trimmed and tidied up around established trees and shrubs right along the track to the Gannet Street Gate.
