Responsible pet ownership

With our ever shrinking natural environment and threats on several fronts to native flora and fauna, it is imperative to protect remnant parcels of land.

On Tambo Bluff we are fortunate to have 40ha of public open space which includes bushland, lagoons, ponds and the lake, all home to a variety of native wildlife and indigenous plants.

Over the past 28 years, TBLC has been protecting and restoring lost habitat and creating wildlife corridors.

With this in mind we ask those frequenting the walking tracks, paths and foreshore to please keep their dogs on leads and responsibly remove dog faeces. [Decomposing dog excrement leaching into the water courses can introduce harmful bacteria and parasites which affects flora, fauna  and humans alike.] Off-leash dogs in native bushland cause significant negative impacts both directly and indirectly.
