Last Thursday’s wild wind saw trees blown over in the Gully. The large gum tree pictured above, traverses the eastern end of the Wallaby Creek Walking Track. We won’t know how many of our recent plantings have survived until it can be removed.
In the below two photos taken on either of the Pelican steps, you can just catch a glimpse of the path underneath the fallen trees.
The Shire has been contacted and hopefully things will be back to normal as soon as possible.
