A two day foodfest saw in excess of 200 Straw-necked Ibis plus 4 White Ibis descend like a black cloud on a large mown grassed area. Hours of feasting on invertebrates resulted in a flock of very satisfied birds.

Their long beaks have performed a very beneficial task – extremely well aerated soil.
